In some cases, IE8 still can’t render CSS correctly. This is the magic trick to target only IE 8 .

ex:
.myText { color /*\**/: #cc0000\9 }

Does not do anything for my IE8
can you give me the css declaration for the property you want to modify ?
Hi, good post. I have been wondering about this issue,so thanks for blogging. I’ll definitely be coming back to your blog. Keep up the good work
I saw this css hack all over but does not seem to work for me either. I am running on a vm an xpsp2 with ie8 final. Now since ie8 was released it still has tons of bugs and it still passes fucko tests when it comes to compliance(less then tkhtml alpha6
) and we also have to watch for people in non standards mode. Who put that button should be killed. and thrown into Dambovita to sink with the rest of the turds.
I’m having a little bit of trouble viewing your site in Firefox, but it may just be my computer. Apart from that, I love your site. I plan on browsing around and reading some more posts!
